23 березня 2023 року відбулась зустріч з представниками Великоберезовицької громади (Тернопільська область), було обговорено ключові аспекти співпраці, особливості функціонування майбутніх пожежних дружин добровільної пожежної охорони в громаді.
Основними завданнями добровільних пожежних об’єднань є забезпечення пожежної безпеки, запобігання виникненню пожеж, гасіння пожеж, рятування людей, а також надання допомоги у ліквідації наслідків інших надзвичайних ситуацій.
Підставою для створення місцевого пожежно-рятувального підрозділу є стаття 26 Закону України «Про місцеве самоврядування» та стаття 62 Кодексу цивільного захисту України.

Consultation meeting with representatives of
Velykyi Beresovytskyi community
The main goal of the project "Creation of a public system of fire protection of forests in Ukraine", implemented by the All-Ukrainian Environmental League with the assistance of the U.S. Forest Service International Programs, is to strengthen the fight against forest fires in Ukraine by creating a system of voluntary fire brigades in pilot communities.
On March 23, 2023, a meeting was held with representatives of the Velykoberezovytska community (Ternopil region) to discuss key aspects of cooperation and the specifics of the functioning of future volunteer fire brigades in the community.
The main tasks of voluntary fire brigades are to ensure fire safety, prevent fires, extinguish fires, rescue people, and assist in eliminating the consequences of other emergencies.
The basis for the establishment of a local fire and rescue unit is Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine "On Local Self-Government" and Article 62 of the Civil Protection Code of Ukraine.
