Народицька громада – серед п’яти громад, які відібрано в Україні для реалізації пілотного проєкту. Основною метою проєкту є посилення протидії лісовим пожежам в Україні через створення системи добровільних пожежних формувань у пілотних громадах.
4 липня 2023 року відбулася заключна частина навчання членів дружини.
Навчання для членів пожежних дружин проводили викладачі Навчального пункту, Аварійно-рятувального загону спеціального призначення ГУ ДСНС України у Житомирській області.
Навчання проходили на території природного заповідника «Древлянський» територія якого в межах Народицького району Житомирської області. Заповідник розташований на південь і схід від смт Народичі, вздовж річки Уж та її правих приток — Лозниця, Ослів і Звіздаль.
Територія заповідника охоплює значні площі лісів, саме тому, членами добровільної дружини стали працівники заповідника. Яким постійно потрібно доглядати величезні масивами колишніх угідь.
Під час заключної зустрічі учасникам добровільної пожежної охорони було вручено комплекти спецформи: куртку і штани з вогнетривкої тканини, шоломи, вогнестійкі пожежні чоботи та рукавиці. Передано й обладнання для роботи дружин: мотопомпу з шлангом, стволом та пожежним рукавом, бензопилу, драбину, комплект рацій, моторну оливу.
Після проходження навчання, викладачі Навчального пункту провели для членів дружини іспит, після якого учасники отримали посвідчення від ДСНС.
Експерти проєкту дякують Народицькій громаді та працівникам ПЗ «Древлянський» за плідну співпрацю. Бажаємо нашим новоспеченим членам Народицької дружини успіхів в подальшій нелегкій роботі.

Training of members of the Narodytska community volunteer fire brigades
The training of members of the Narodytska community's volunteer fire brigades, implemented within the framework of the project «Creation of a public system of fire protection of forests in Ukraine», implemented by the All-Ukrainian Environmental League with the assistance and support of the U.S. Forest Service International Programs, has been completed.
The Narodytska community is among five communities selected in Ukraine to implement the pilot project. The main goal of the project is to strengthen the fight against forest fires in Ukraine by creating a system of voluntary fire brigades in the pilot communities.
On 4 July 2023, the final part of the training took place.
The training for fire brigade members was conducted by teachers of the Training Centre, Special Emergency and Rescue Unit of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zhytomyr Oblast.
The training took place at the Drevlyansky Nature Reserve, which is located within the Narodytsky district of Zhytomyr region. The reserve is located to the south and east of Narodychi, along the Uzh River and its right tributaries - Loznitsa, Oslov and Zvizdal.
The territory of the reserve covers a large area of forests, which is why employees of the reserve became members of the voluntary team. They constantly have to take care of huge tracts of former land.
During the final meeting, the members of the volunteer fire brigade were presented with sets of special uniforms: jackets and trousers made of fire-resistant fabric, helmets, fire-resistant fire boots and gloves. They also received equipment for the fire brigades: a motor pump with a hose, barrel and fire hose, a chainsaw, a ladder, a set of radios and engine oil.
After completing the training, the teachers of the Training Centre conducted an exam for the members of the brigade, after which they received certificates from the SES.
The project experts thank the Narodytska community and the employees of the Drevlyansky facility for their fruitful cooperation. We wish our newly-minted members of the Narodychi squad success in their future hard work.
