Створення Центру екстреної комунікації визначається потребою у вдосконаленні системи пожежного захисту лісів та підвищенні готовності громад до дій в екстрених ситуаціях.
Однією з головних функцій Центру є забезпечення надійного екстреного зв'язку між добровільною пожежною охороною, місцевими органами влади та іншими важливими структурами. Це включає в себе використання сучасних засобів зв'язку, таких як радіостанції, мобільні телефони та інші технічні засоби.
Крім того, Центр відіграє ключову роль у координації зусиль з реагування на надзвичайні ситуації, забезпечуючи ефективну взаємодію між різними службами та добровольчими групами. Така координація є важливою для швидкого та ефективного втручання у разі лісових пожеж та інших надзвичайних подій.
Центр також відзначається активною роботою з проведення тренінгів для різних категорій населення в громадах. Ці тренінги спрямовані на підвищення рівня обізнаності та готовності громадян до дій у випадку надзвичайних ситуацій, а також на навчання ефективним методам пожежогасіння та самозахисту.
Важливо відзначити, що Центр екстреної комунікації був створений завдяки партнерству з Інформаційно-просвітницьким центром «Екологічна варта» та за підтримки Корсунь-Шевченківської громади. Це взаємодія різних рівнів влади, громадських організацій та активної підтримки громадськості, що свідчить про спільний зусилля у вирішенні важливих завдань з пожежного захисту лісів та безпеки громад.

The Emergency Communication Center to enhance the capacity of volunteer firefighters has become a key component of the project «Creation of a public forest fire protection system in Ukraine» implemented by the All-Ukrainian Environmental League with the assistance of the US Forest Service. This center is an important tool for ensuring effective emergency communication, coordinating emergency response, and conducting trainings for various categories of people in communities.
The establishment of the Emergency Communication Center is driven by the need to improve the forest fire protection system and increase community preparedness for emergency response.
One of the main functions of the Center is to ensure reliable emergency communication between the voluntary fire brigades, local authorities and other important structures. This includes the use of modern communications equipment such as radios, mobile phones and other technical means.
In addition, the Center plays a key role in coordinating emergency response efforts, ensuring effective interaction between various services and volunteer groups. Such coordination is essential for quick and effective intervention in the event of forest fires and other emergencies.
The Emergency Communication Center is also noted for its active work in conducting trainings for various categories of people in the communities. These trainings are aimed at raising awareness and readiness of citizens to act in case of emergencies, as well as teaching effective methods of firefighting and self-defense.
It is important to note that the Emergency Communication Center was established in partnership with Information and Educational Center «Ecological Guard» and with the support of the Korsun-Shevchenkivska community. This is the interaction of different levels of government, NGOs and active support of the public, which demonstrates joint efforts in solving important tasks of forest fire protection and community safety.
