21 грудня 2023 року відбулась конференція з оцінки поточного стану розвитку добровільних пожежних команд у цільових громадах в рамках проекту "Створення громадської системи пожежної охорони лісів в Україні" за участю представників 5 цільових громад.
Тимочко Тетяна Валентинівна, голова Всеукраїнської екологічної ліги, привітала учасників зустрічі та розповіла про розвиток проєкту у 5 цільових громадах. Зокрема, було анонсовано створення Центру екстреної комунікації добровільних пожежних дружин.
Павличенко Петро Гаврилович, координатор проєктів Лісової служби США в Східній Європі та Україні, зазначив, що проєкти Лісової служби США охоплюють 90 країн світу. Співпраця з місцевими громадами в контексті проєкту є надзвичайно ефективною, оскільки швидке та своєчасне реагування на пожежі додомагає зменшувати негативні наслідки для довкілля. Лісова служба США з початку повномаштабного військового вторгнення росії надає технічну допомогу ДСНС та іншим партнерам в Україні.
Барабанова Олена Анатоліївна, керівник проєкту, розповіла про просвітницьку діяльність добровільних пожежних дружин у проєкті. В рамках проєкту були створені інформаційні стенди про небезпеку лісових пожеж для кожної з пілотних громад: «Збережемо живу природу від вогню!», «Зупинимо лісові пожежі разом!», «Врятуємо ліси від пожеж!». Було зазначено, що на базі Інформаційно-просвітницького центру «Екологічна варта» члени ДПД та представники ДСНС проводять лекції, презентації та практичні заняття для дітей щодо запобігання лісовим пожежам. Для поширення інформації щодо проєкту було створено сайт «Добровільна пожежна охорона України» (детальніше за посиланням: https://dpd-ukraine.space/ ).
Пащенко Олена Вікторівна, менеджер із закупівель, розповіла про використання майна, наданого добровільним пожежним дружинам під час проєкту.
Вавер Марія Янівна, комунікаційний менеджер, зазначила, що інформацію про успішні практики створення добровільних пожежних дружин у цільових громадах було розміщено у понад 20 публікаціях у місцевих, обласних, всеукраїнських друкованих ЗМІ та 200 публікаціях на сайтах громад, ютуб каналах, фейсбук-сторінках партнерів проєкту.
Корбут Марія Броніславівна, кандидат технічних наук, доцент кафедри екології Житомирського державного технологічного університету, голова Житомирської обласної організації Всеукраїнської екологічної ліги, розповіла про роль жінок у природоохороній справі. Жінки складають 50 % добровільної пожежної дружини Розсошанської громади. Залучення жінок відображає сучасні тенденції гендерної рівності, розширює кадровий потенціал цієї сфери та підвищує ефективність роботи добровільних пожежних дружин через внесення нових підходів, навичок та інновацій.
Бортнік Віталій Олександрович, керівник пожежної дружини добровільної пожежної охорони Народицької селищної територіальної громади представив звіт щодо функціонування ДПД у Народицькій громаді.
Сурмінський Анатолій Франкович, член добровільної пожежної дружини Козлівської громади подякував Лісовій службі США за підтримку у розвитку культури добровільних пожежних дружин в Україні.
Володимир Михайлович Петровський, член добровільної пожежної дружини Розсошанської громади розповів про співпрацю між добровільною пожежною дружиною та представниками місцевої пожежної охорони.
Мацюк Віталій Сергійович, голова Корсунь-Шевченківської міської ради, наголосив на важливості посилення протидії лісовим пожежам в Україні через створення системи добровільних пожежних формувань в пілотних громадах.
Смірнова Анастасія Юріївна, головний спеціаліст сектору оборонної та мобілізаційної роботи, цивільного захисту та взаємодії з правоохоронними органами виконкому Пирятинської міської ради, висловила подяку Лісовій службі США за можливість та допомогу у протидії пожежам задля сталого розвитку громади.
Леонід Вячеславович Головач, начальник АРЗ СП Головного управління Державної служби України з надзвичайних ситуацій у Полтавській області представив позитивний досвід впровадження інтерактивної системи навчання добровільних пожежних.
Долевич Юрій Миколайович, заступник начальника Головного управління Державної служби України з надзвичайних ситуацій у Житомирській області, наголосив на важливості посилення співпраці ДСНС та добровільних пожежних дружин.
Представник Головного управління Державної служби України з надзвичайних ситуацій у Хмельницькій області зазначив на важливості подальшої співпраці та розвитку комунікацій в майбутньому.
Зацікавленість громадськості у протидії пожежам під час російської військової агресії на території України показує готовність українців дбати про довкілля для майбутнього.

On December 21, 2023, a conference on the assessment of the current state of development of voluntary fire brigades in the target communities under the project « Creation of a public system of fire protection of forests in Ukraine» with the participation of members of 5 target communities.
Tetyana Tymochko, Head of the All-Ukrainian Environmental League, welcomed the participants of the meeting and spoke about the development of the project in 5 target communities. In particular, the creation of an Emergency Communication Center for volunteer fire brigades was announced.
Petro Pavlychenko, US Forest Service Project Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Ukraine, noted that US Forest Service projects cover 90 countries. Cooperation with local communities in the context of the project is extremely effective, as a quick and timely response to fires helps to reduce negative environmental impacts. The US Forest Service has been providing technical assistance to the SES and other partners in Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale military invasion.
Olena Barabanova, project manager, spoke about the educational activities of volunteer fire brigades in the project. As part of the project, information stands about the danger of forest fires were created for each of the pilot communities: «Let's save wildlife from fire!», «Let's stop forest fires together!», «Let's save forests from fires!». It was noted that on the basis of the Ecological Guard Information and Education Center, members of the DPA and representatives of the SES conduct lectures, presentations, and workshops for children on forest fire prevention. Olena Pashchenko, Procurement Manager, spoke about the use of the property provided to the volunteer fire brigades during the project.
Maria Vaver, Communications Manager, noted that information on successful practices of creating volunteer fire brigades in the target communities was published in more than 20 publications in local, regional, and national print media and 200 publications on community websites, YouTube channels, and Facebook pages of the project partners.
Maria Korbut, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology at Zhytomyr State Technological University, Head of the Zhytomyr Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Environmental League, spoke about the role of women in environmental protection. Women make up 50% of the volunteer fire brigade of the Rozsoshanska community. The involvement of women reflects current trends in gender equality, expands the human resources potential of this area and increases the efficiency of volunteer fire brigades by introducing new approaches, skills and innovations.
Vitaliy Bortnik, head of the fire brigade of the Narodytska settlement territorial community, presented a report on the functioning of the fire brigade in the Narodytska community.
Anatolii Surminskyi, member of the Kozlivska community volunteer fire brigade, thanked the US Forest Service for its support in developing the culture of volunteer fire brigades in Ukraine.
Volodymyr Petrovsky, a member of the volunteer fire brigade of the Rozsoshanska community, spoke about the cooperation between the volunteer fire brigade and representatives of the local fire department.
Vitalii Matsiuk, Head of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi City Council, emphasized the importance of strengthening the fight against forest fires in Ukraine by creating a system of voluntary fire brigades in pilot communities.
Anastasia Smirnova, Chief Specialist of the Defense and Mobilization, Civil Protection and Law Enforcement Sector of the Executive Committee of the Pyriatyn City Council, expressed gratitude to the US Forest Service for the opportunity and assistance in firefighting for sustainable community development.
Leonid Golovach, Head of the ARZ of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Poltava Oblast, presented the positive experience of implementing an interactive training system for volunteer firefighters.
Yuriy Dolevych, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zhytomyr Oblast, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the SES and volunteer fire brigades.
A representative of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Khmelnytsky Oblast emphasized the importance of further cooperation and communication development in the future.
The public's interest in fighting fires during the Russian military aggression on the territory of Ukraine shows the readiness of Ukrainians to take care of the environment for the future.
