Учасниками зустрічі стали представники добровільної пожежної дружини, місцевої пожежної охорони та місцевої влади.
Володимир Колісник, голова Козлівської громади, подякував експертам проєкту «Створення громадської системи протипожежного захисту лісів в Україні» за надану можливість долучити активних членів громади до посилення пожежної безпеки громади. Він висловив готовність у сприянні проведення просвітницької діяльності для підвищення свідомого ставлення мешканців Козлівської громади до пожежної безпеки в природних екосистемах.
Олена Пащенко, менеджер проєкту, заступниця голови Всеукраїнської екологічної ліги, наголосила на важливості підвищення стійкості громади за допомогою Аналізу вжитих заходів. Такий підхід допомагає вдосконалити ефективність дій під час надзвичайних подій, зменшуючи ризики для жителів громади та підвищуючи швидкість реагування.
Вавер Марія, менеджер з комунікацій, розповіла про негативні наслідки впливу лісових пожеж на складові довкілля та важливість проведення інформаційно-просвітницької роботи з населенням щодо протипожежної безпеки.
Представники місцевої пожежної охорони також поділилися практичними рекомендаціями щодо вирішення проблем, які виникають під час функціонування ДПД.
Практична частина заходу включала демонстрацію роботи пожежного-рятувального автомобіля місцевої пожежної охорони смт Козлів, що активно використовується для ліквідації надзвичайних ситуацій, а також тренування для представників добровільної пожежної охорони.
Обговорення таких питань та практичні тренування значно покращують готовність громад реагувати на надзвичайні ситуації, що є особливо важливо в часи російської військової агресії.

«Problems that arise during the functioning of and ways to solve them» in Kozlivska community
On October 8, 2024, a conference «Problems that arise during the functioning of the Volunteer Fire Department and ways to solve them» was held in Kozlivska community (Ternopil region). The event was held within the framework of the project «Creation of a public forest fire protection system in Ukraine», implemented by the All-Ukrainian Environmental League with the assistance and support of the U.S. Forest Service International Programs.
The meeting was attended by representatives of volunteer fire brigades, local fire protection and local authorities.
Volodymyr Kolisnyk, head of the Kozlivska community, thanked the experts of the project «Creation of a public forest fire protection system in Ukraine» for the opportunity to engage active community members to strengthen the community's fire safety. He expressed his readiness to facilitate educational activities to raise the consciousness of the residents of the Kozlivska community about fire safety in natural ecosystems.
Olena Pashchenko, project manager, deputy head of the All-Ukrainian Environmental League, emphasized the importance of increasing community resilience through the Analysis of Measures Taken. This approach helps to improve the effectiveness of actions during emergencies, reducing risks for community members and increasing the speed of response.
Mariia Vaver, Communications Manager, spoke about the negative impact of forest fires on the environment and the importance of conducting public awareness campaigns on fire safety.
Representatives of the local fire service also shared practical recommendations on how to solve problems that arise during the operation of the SFE.
The practical part of the event included a demonstration of the fire and rescue vehicle of the local fire department of Kozliv, which is actively used to eliminate emergencies, as well as training for representatives of the volunteer fire department.
Discussions of such issues and practical training significantly improve the readiness of communities to respond to emergencies, which is especially important in times of Russian military aggression.
