– формування ефективних комунікацій між командами під час ліквідації надзвичайних ситуацій;
– розробка нових протоколів координації дій під час масштабних лісових пожеж;
– обмін досвідом у підготовці командних лідерів, здатних швидко ухвалювати рішення в умовах високого ризику.
Цей діалог став важливим кроком у зміцненні партнерства між Україною та США у сфері протипожежного захисту та розвитку системи підготовки пожежних служб.
Leadership in the SESU: Ideas for Ukraine
On September 3, 2024, a working meeting was held between experts from the U.S. Forest Service and a representative of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Zaporizhzhya Oblast on the Leadership Course with the organizational support of the All-Ukrainian Ecological League.
The focus was on the key aspects of leadership, its role in the functioning of fire service units, as well as on the values and principles that ensure effective and safe work of teams.
The main topics of discussion included
– implementation of modern approaches to training fire department management.
– building effective communications between teams during emergency response.
– development of new protocols for coordinating actions during large-scale forest fires
– exchange of experience in training team leaders capable of making quick decisions in high-risk conditions.
This dialogue was an important step in strengthening the partnership between Ukraine and the United States in the field of fire protection and the development of the fire service training system.
